The Taste of Mexico Association was created by LA's top native Mexican restauranteurs to embody, enhance and promote the authentic ingredients, flavors and traditions of Mexico's cuisine. All member restaurant founders are natives of Mexico and adhere to traditional Mexican ingredients and recipes which were developed and prepared by chefs with vast culinary experience in different regions of Mexico. La Monarca Bakery is a founding member of The Taste of Mexico Association and La Monarca Bakery's founder, Ricardo Cervantes, is the current President of The Taste of Mexico Association.
